2025 was a year of momentum. We built stories, sets, relationships, and plenty of miles. From coast-to-coast shoots to virtual production breakthroughs, we pushed creative boundaries and explored new ways of working. Now we’re starting 2026 by looking back at what we accomplished together.

Every shoot, set, and story last year was powered by incredible partners, crew, and collaborators. We’re proud of the work and even more proud of the people behind it. This recap is a celebration of the process, the people, and the momentum we’re carrying into the new year.

How we Animated Grand RapidS from the Ground Up

Behind the Scenes of Dream Grand & Grow for Experience Grand Rapids

When Experience Grand Rapids asked for a way to showcase all the new riverfront developments, we pitched something big: let’s build the entire city in CGI. No stock footage. No AI. Just our artists, Cinema 4D, and a massive pile of CAD files.

We worked closely with Experience Grand Rapids and multiple architecture firms to source the most up-to-date building plans and development data. From there, our animation team stripped, scaled, and textured each asset, rebuilding the city block by block inside a fully virtual environment.

7-Episode Historical documentary coming in 2026

Over the past two years, our team has had the privilege of producing a 7-episode feature documentary honoring the legacy of two people who helped shape West Michigan.

The series blends large-scale recreations and intimate storytelling, spanning 1940s rural America, 1970s Hong Kong, and beyond. We combined cinematic set builds, archival footage, and first-person interviews with those who knew them best to bring the story to life. It’s one of the most ambitious documentary projects we’ve taken on and we’re excited to share more soon.

Seasons — Rivian (Spec Ad)

Each year we carve out time to produce at least one spec ad as a way to stretch creatively, test new tools, and explore the kinds of stories we want to tell. This Rivian spot follows one couple through the seasons of their life, all grounded by a single vehicle. Filmed in our virtual production studio.
